Stinky Park

AKA Valle Vista. It is really not that stinky anymore but sometimes you can get a whiff. It is right next to a sewage treatment plant and this is what the cousins always called this park so we do too. It is a great park.

Katie's the teacher

Katie has just one more story to read and she'll be done with the second grade level of hooked on phonics. JD knows all his letter sounds and is starting the kindergarten book. Here Katie is helping him with the at words.

JD's bandaid

The day before I took this picture JD had fallen and wanted a bandaid. I said no, because it wasn't bleeding. He kept asking and I kept saying no. The next morning I hadn't seen him in a while and found him as he was coming out of the bathroom. He had climbed upon the toilet and got the box of bandaids down, opened one up, and put a bandaid on all by himself.
